The UK is one of the most popular choices for Bangladeshi students, with one-year master's degrees, respected qualifications and a large British-Bangladeshi community. For undergraduate entry, universities consider your HSC or A-level results, and some ask for a foundation year. For master's degrees, they look at your bachelor's CGPA and subject.

Sometimes. Some universities accept a Medium of Instruction (MOI) letter showing your degree was taught in English, or a strong English grade in HSC or O/A levels. Others require IELTS, PTE or another approved test. Policies vary by university and course, and the visa may have separate English requirements, so we check every option for you.

After you accept an offer, your university issues a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS). You then apply for a UK Student visa, usually with:

• Your passport and CAS
• Proof of funds for tuition and living costs, held for at least 28 consecutive days
• A tuberculosis (TB) test certificate from an approved clinic
• The academic and English documents listed on your CAS
